In this capacity\, he is responsible for the overall strategy and execution of innovation policy and industry collaboration especially in health care.\n\n\n\nNorihiko also serves as a Special Advisor to Minister of Economy\, Trade and Industry of Japan and his task is to recommend the policy options as well as promote collaboration at the governmental level. He joined the Ministry of Economy\, Trade and Industry of Japan in 2001 and was the principal deputy director at Bio Industry Division and formulate bio industrial policy including regenerative medicine\, genome medicine\, antibody medicine and nuclear acid medicine from 2014-15.
